Data Protection
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called Cookies. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your end device through the browser. Cookies do not cause any damage. We use Cookies to make our offer user-friendly and to give you a better user experience. In general, Cookies are used to save user settings, to retain information, e.g. for shopping carts, and to provide anonymous tracking for applications of third-party providers like Google Analytics. Generally, Cookies improve the surfing experience. Nevertheless, you can deactivate Cookies on our website and other websites if you want. The most effective way to deactivate Cookies is directly through browser settings. Go to the Help section in your browser to learn how to deactivate Cookies. Deactivating Cookies can limit the functionality of our website.
Web Analytics
Our website uses the functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are saved on your computer, to enable an analysis of your website activity. The information regarding your website activity (including your IP-address) generated through the Cookie is transferred to a server by Google and saved there. Google uses this information to analyse the website activity and to compile reports on it. We use this information only for the purpose of our market research and for optimising the website design. If necessary, Google can transfer this information to third parties, as long as it is legal or as long as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Your IP-address will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of Cookies using the proper settings in your Browser Software. In that case, you may no longer be able to fully use all the functions of this website. By using this website, you consent to Google processing the data collected about you in the aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose. We have signed a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing. If you don’t want your anonymised data to be used for website analysis, here is a tool for deactivation:
GA-OptOut: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/
Your IP-address is recorded, but immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 Bit) anonymised. In this way, only a rough localisation is possible. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. The data is processed on the basis of the legal provisions in § 96 paragraph 3 TKG (Telecommunications Act), and Art 6 paragraph 1 lit a (consent), and/or f (legitimate interest) of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Our involvement with GDPR (legitimate interest) has to do with improving our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is anonymised. The user data is stored for a duration of 24 months.
Contacting us
When you contact us via a form on the website or via email, your data is saved with us for 6 months so that we can process the enquiry and ask follow-up questions, if any. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
